Over the years, we developed a series of visual identities for PichPrich – a live storytelling platform dedicated to women’s voices and personal narratives. Each edition required a distinct poster and social media system, balancing consistency with a fresh visual tone that reflects the emotional range and strength of the stories shared on stage.

In 2018, the theme “Dobiv” carried a layered meaning, touching on both gain and the female body, translated into a restrained yet provocative visual metaphor.

In 2019, “Vlakna” (“Hair”) became a metaphor for intimacy, identity and the politics of the body, expressed through a stark and minimal composition.

In “Fasada” (“Facade”), a small yet unapologetic female figure confronts monumental architecture, exposing the distance between outward appearance and inner reality.

In 2020, “Brkam Rabota” (“Getting Things Done” / “Looking for Work”) translated lockdown reality into a provocative staged photograph that exposed the vulnerability and intensity of domestic isolation.

The theme “Ljubovni Pisma” (“Love Letters”) explored intimacy as text — where emotion moves between body and page. (2021)

In 2021, “Writing Women” brought together feminist authors to speak about their professional journeys during the pandemic, framed through a staged domestic photograph that blurred writing, labor and everyday life.

The 2022 edition “Cepki” (slang for something hilariously funny) embraced humor and exaggeration, using bold color and magnified detail to celebrate laughter as both release and resistance.

The theme “Bev Sama” (“I Was Alone”) addressed solitude in its emotional and social dimensions, expressed through a restrained yet tense visual atmosphere. (2023)

Inspired by Lady Macbeth’s plea to be “unsexed” — to shed the qualities imposed upon her gender in pursuit of power — “Raspolovi Me / Unsex Me” explores the tension between imposed identity and self-definition, reflecting on division, expectation and the fragile balance between ambition and social constraint. Context

Over the years, the visual identities for PichPrich have responded to evolving social realities, centering women’s lived experiences, feminist thought and the shifting dynamics of public and private life.

Approach

Each edition developed a distinct visual language – from intimate photography to conceptual minimalism and bold typographic statements — while maintaining a coherent system that reflects vulnerability, strength and multiplicity.

Why it mattered

By consistently translating complex themes into clear and provocative visuals, the series helped position PichPrich as a vital cultural platform that amplifies women’s voices and contributes to ongoing conversations on gender equality.
