For the 2013 Koma agenda, marking 20 years of the studio, we went back to the beginning.
Our first car was a Zastava 750 — the small white “Fičo”.
It became the starting point for the concept.
On the cover, a minimal vector drawing of the car is revealed through a cut-out shaped like a rear-view mirror — a simple look 20 years back.
The double cover allowed us to play with layers and openings, keeping the idea subtle and direct.
The most playful part is on the back.
A transparent sliding layer creates a small optical illusion — moving it left and right makes the engine appear as if it’s running.
A simple mechanism, almost naive, but enough to bring the object to life.
